Do you come from a Circus or Show Business background?

If you mean, did I come from a circus family, the answer is "no". However, I was on Big John Strong's circus variety shows for several years; and I worked on Exotic Animal Circus, Zoppe's Circus Europa, International Circus Royale, Tarzen Zerbini Shrine Circus and George Carden Shrine Circus.

Tell us about yourself and your background!

For most of my life, I have been a professional entertainer, specializing in corporate illusion shows. On touring variety shows and circuses, I WAS RINGMASTER, FIRE-EATER AND ILLUSIONIST. The last big show I worked was the World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions. I was announcer, performance director, media spokesperson, and did a couple of terms as show manager. I was with them for 12 full years out of a 14-year period, traveling to every state and province, the Yukon, England, Scotland, Wales, Dublin, Oslo and Mexico City--as well as a year at a Florida theme park, a summer at San Diego Wild Animal Park, and 18 months at the Excalibur in Vegas. I stopped touring at the end of 2002, and in late 2003, I began performing high-energy, comedy magic and illusion shows for special events in the San Antonio, TX area.
I am a Christian--much more committed to the Kingdom of God than I was when I was on the road. I've been single since 1981. My adult daughter, Terri, lives with me. One of my dreams is to open my own "magic and variety theatre"--geared to family audiences. My web site is www.magiking.com.
