Do you come from a Circus or Show Business background?
I was not born into a circus family - but I told my Mother when I was four years old that I was going to be a circus ringmaster - I walked rather than ran away to a circus at the age of 17!!!!
Tell us about yourself and your background!
I was firstly an animal trainer/presenter for the Chipperfield family working with chimps sealions bears and exotics - then ringmaster for all major British circuses including Chipperfields, Billy Smarts (the revival!) Robert Brothers, Austen Brothers etc plus 10 seasons at the Hippodrome Circus building in Great Yarmouth as ringmaster and showing a multitude of animal acts - also many times hosting circuses for BBC TV - even ringmastered a circus on the lawn of Buckingham Palace! Also worked in circuses in Eire, Japan, Middle East and enjoyed my time in the USA & Canada (Hannefords & Circus Royalle) now in addition to ringmaster work am administrator and artistic director - I am freelance and have worked for Disney amongst others - I have been artistic director for Zippos Circus in UK since 1996 creating each touring and winter production

I was delighted with the new Zippo Circus "from cart wheels to steel wheels" that I have just finished directing for Martin"Zippo" Burton in London - the show is now on a nationwide tour and receiving great reviews! Also had a fun week as ringmaster for the 2nd unit of Zippos on stage in Worthing!

Mr Hibling..... You did say i am your friend . I am now in my 6th year as Musical Director (or gramophone player ) at the Great British Circus. I have just about enough energy to push a few buttons ! Love every minute of it, would gladly - dont tell Martin - do it for free. ANYWAY would you be so kind as to email Bill Edwards admin@fun-fairs.co.uk so he knows I'm a living (just) human and not a crank.

Hi David - No problems with "Jackass" - he seems intent on insisting that it was "Ingo Stiefner" not Ingo Stiebner that referred him to Circuspace - so i'm not really taking him seriously; I've always loved a good debate though (ask my wife) and love picking arguments to bits.
