- I started out doing a rolling globe and juggling act with my sisters,then a flying act with my husband,a cradle act with my husband,a dog act ,a high school horse act ,an elephant act with my husband and then an elephant act by myself and have gone to the dogs act again. Several weeks ago I had a operation Triple A Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm I almost did not make it. I am now up and about after 8 wks in bed. Bored out of my mind, but thak got for pain killers.
I do not know if you are still on the road, hope to get to Florida in the fall as want to see Vicky Hanneford and look for a cheap house in Florida. I so enjoyed the costume pictures you sent to me, I could never do that by hand, but you sure got the look down.
Sad, but everytime I see a circus now days, I want to get the sequin machines out and redo the damm show. hahahaha

It all comes together now. I was parked next to you in the Carson and Barnes WQ getting ready for the 1978 season. You had a large aluminum trailer mounted on a flatbed semi. I was on the show for about a month and then left to complete the Castle dates already signed and then returned to Carson and Barnes to complete the season. One of my extra duties that year was to check on the hippo each day to make sure the tank had been drained and refilled as the animal activists were just getting started at that time. I was wondering if I have you confused with Joanne Pinson or were you at one time married to PeeWee Pinson. The Pinsons had the elephants on Castle when I first went there and later a young man named Gary took them over. He also had the Marhall camels and llamas on the Castle show. Edward Russell
I was the performance director for Carson and Barnes in 1978. My one ringer Russell Bros Family Fun Circus opens at the fairgrounds in Costa Mesa on July 10. We will be there from July 5 to August 9. The fair is closed on Monday and Tuesday ...Ed
Couldn't have been Roller Bros. as I never worked with them. We are getting ready for a 5 week run at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa, CA maybe I'll remember during that time. I am 74 years old and my remembering file does not work so well on some days. Have a good day. . .Ed
Yes I play the keyboard and I know we did work together years ago but I can't remember the show. Could have been Sid Kellners Great London Circus, Hubert Castle Shrine Circus or maybe even Carson and Barnes.
